The Power System Interoperability, Integration & Architectures Panel serves as a forum for information sharing on future power requirements, technology gaps, and emerging advanced power component technologies and the integration of these technologies into Advanced Power Systems. The focus of the panel is on the integration of these technologies to meet future requirements in the following areas:
- Platform agnostic source integration
- Distribution management and integration of advanced control/protection devices
- Load management and smart load integration
- Grid management
The panel will also help to foster interagency information sharing on Industrial Control Systems (ICS) cybersecurity advances, serve as an interagency repository for hybrid and microgrid related projects and R&D, and initiate discussions on joint agency/organizations collaboration on specific projects or between projects.
