When you register for an IAPG meeting, non-sensitive PII work information is collected (name, agency, organization, work address, work phone, work email) including the type of employee you are, as well as detailed event attendance selections and dietary restrictions.
When you submit an IAPG application, non-sensitive PII work information is collected (name, agency, organization, work address, work phone, work email), including what type of employee you area, as well as which working group you wish to join. This information is retained at the website indefinitely.
Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Security Logs
The IP address of visitors, user ID of logged in users, and username of login attempts are conditionally logged to check for malicious activity and to protect the site from specific kinds of attacks. Examples of conditions when logging occurs include login attempts, log out requests, requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates. This information is retained for 14 days.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset when you login to the site, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
If you have access to login to this site, we save your content activity like create/update/delete pages and events.
This site is scanned for potential malware and vulnerabilities by the SolidWP Site Scanner. We do not send personal information to the scanner; however, the scanner could find personal information posted publicly (such as in comments) during the scan.
How long we retain your data
For users that are allowed access to login to the site, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Meeting registration information is retained on the website for one month after the event is over.
IAPG application information is retained at the website for six months from submission.
Security logs are retained for 14 days.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
