The Interagency Advanced Power Group (IAPG) Chemical Working Group (CWG) Safety Panel Hybrid Meeting is scheduled for 22–23 February 2023, at the Doolittle Institute / Eglin Air Force Base, in Niceville, Florida. The virtual forum will be hosted through MS Teams.
Federal Consortium for Advanced Batteries (FCAB) Meeting – A half-day session to allow for collaboration discussions with the FCAB is scheduled for Friday, 24 February 2023. Attendance is limited, see guidance below.

Attendance at the Safety Panel Meeting is limited to:
- U.S. Government employees, includes Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) assignees.
- Pre-approved foreign government representatives.
- Captive Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Government Contractors.
- Employees of Federally Funded R&D Centers (FFRDCs). This only includes employees of the FFRDC, not the administering entity. View the master list of FFRDCs
Attendance at the FCAB Meeting is limited to:

Requests for PARTICIPATION of non-U.S. Government employees must be submitted in writing and sent to Julie Simmons and Giuseppe Di Benedetto. The deadline for requests for foreign nationals is 11 January 2023. The deadline for requests for U.S. Government contractors is 25 January 2023. Requests received after these dates cannot be accepted.

Pre-registration is required, for in-person and virtual participants. No walk-in/day-of meeting registrations will be permitted.
The deadline for registration for foreign government employees is 26 January 2023.
The deadline for registration for U.S. citizens is 8 February 2023.
During the registration process, please ensure you are providing your full legal name as it appears on the government issued ID you will be using for identification at Eglin Air Force Base.
Visitor Requests – Non-Department of Defense (DoD) Attendees
- All foreign national (FN) visitor requests must be submitted a minimum of 30 days prior to the proposed visit. The deadline for submission is 26 January 2023. Requests should be sent from the respective country’s embassy to the U.S. Embassy in Washington, DC.
- Non-DoD U.S. citizens/persons visit requests must be received by 8 February 2023.

Badging
Only those individuals planning to participate in the facility tours at Eglin Air Force Base, scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, 23 February 2023, and who do not possess a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) must provide their date of birth, driver’s license number, and issuing state via encrypted email to Eglin AFB security no later than 8 February 2023.
All U.S. citizens/persons must present official government-issued photo identification (driver’s license or passport) before being granted entry to Eglin Air Force Base. FN visitors must present two forms of photo identification.
During the registration process, please ensure you are providing your full legal name as it appears on the government issued ID you will be using for identification at Eglin Air Force Base.

Food Accommodations
While there is no registration fee, $30.00 per person, per day (Wednesday and Thursday); and $14.00 per person, per day (Friday), will be collected through the online registration process for those choosing to participate in the FULL F&B option. The cost includes continental breakfast, beverages, lunch (Wed/Thurs), and snacks provided throughout the meeting.
The facility has a beverage and snack ONLY option, for those who may wish to participate. The cost is $1.00 per item or $5.00 per day for unlimited beverages and snacks. The fee will be collected at the onsite registration desk and is payable in CASH only.
If your attendance plans change, please contact Renee O’Brokta to cancel your registration so we may avoid unnecessary charges.
Group Dinner
A no-host group dinner is planned for the evening of Wednesday, 22 February 2023. Charges will be individually billed. Please indicate on your registration if you would like to attend.
