The Interagency Advanced Power Group (IAPG) Chemical Working Group (CWG) Safety Panel Hybrid Meeting is scheduled for February 18–19, 2026, at the Gulf Coast State College and the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, in Panama City, Florida. The virtual forum will be available via Microsoft Teams.

Meeting Attendees/Guests – Please Review Carefully
Attendance at the Safety Panel Meeting is limited to:
- U.S. government employees, including Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) assignees.
- Foreign government representatives approved in advance.
- Captive Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) government contractors
- Employees of federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs). This includes employees of the FFRDC only, not employees of the administering entity. View the master list of FFRDCs.
Participation Requests
For new participants only: requests for participation of non-U.S. government employees must be submitted in writing and sent to Giuseppe Di Benedetto and Tracey Cheek. The deadline for requests for foreign government representatives is January 7, 2026. The deadline for requests for U.S. government contractors/FFRDC’s is January 21, 2026. Requests received after these dates cannot be accepted.
Meeting Registration
Pre-registration is required for in-person and virtual participants through the IAPG website.
- The registration deadline for foreign government representatives is January 16, 2026.
- The registration deadline for all other attendees is February 4, 2026.
During the registration process, please ensure you are providing your full legal name as it appears on your government-issued ID you will be using for identification at the visitor control office.

Visitor Access for NSWC Facility Tours
Visitor access requests are needed only for those planning to participate in the NSWC Panama City Division facility tours scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026. Requirements are as follows:
- Foreign government representatives: Submit SECNAV Form 5512.1 no later than January 16, 2026.
- Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC) holders: Submit a Visit Access Request through the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) using SMO Code: NSWC PCD-VR-110 no later than February 4, 2026.
- Non-DoD CAC holders: Submit visit credentials to the NSWC POC no later than February 4, 2026. Contact information provided with your registration confirmation.
- All visitors must present a valid government-issued photo identification (REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, passport, or military ID).
Food Accommodations
Snacks, including pastries/muffins, cookies, coffee, water, and tea will be provided throughout the meeting for a nominal fee. Lunch will be on your own.
If your attendance plans change, please contact Renee O’Brokta to cancel your registration so we may avoid unnecessary charges. The cancellation deadline is February 11, 2026.
Group Dinner
A no-host group dinner is planned for the evening of Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Charges will be individually billed. Please indicate on your registration if you would like to attend.
Facility Tours
Tours of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division are scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026. Please indicate on your registration if you plan to participate. Tours are open to all registered participants.

Final presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint or PDF) must be sent to Renee O’Brokta no later than COB February 9, 2026. All presentations must be received in advance so they can be available for participant download.
