IAPG Renewable Energy Conversion Working Group (RECWG) Meeting 2022

July 26-27, 2022

The Interagency Advanced Power Group (IAPG) Renewable Energy Conversion Working Group (RECWG) Hybrid Meeting is scheduled for July 26–27, 2022, at the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Basic Research Innovation and Collaboration Center in Arlington, Virginia.

Meeting Goals

The IAPG emphasizes program coordination and dissemination of technical information to increase the effectiveness of Government programs, avoid duplication, identify technology gaps, and maximize success in research efforts. The RECWG meeting will provide a forum for a cross-cutting review of current government research activities across the interest of RECWG members within the IAPG Member Agencies (Army, Navy, Air Force, DOE, and NASA).

The meeting will be held in the “Research B” conference room. Signs will be posted to direct attendees.

Meeting Attendees – Please Review Carefully

Attendance at the RECWG meeting is limited to U.S. persons – citizens or lawful permanent residents (LPRs), also known as permanent resident aliens (PRAs) or green card holders.

  • Government employees, including Intergovernmental Personnel Act employees.
  • Employees of Federally Funded R&D Centers (FFRDCs).  This only includes employees of the FFRDC, not the administering entity.  View the master list of FFRDCs.

Meeting Registration

Pre-registration is required for both in-person and virtual participants. The deadline for registration is
July 12, 2022.

All presenters as well as meeting attendees are required to register. No walk-in/day-of meeting registrations will be permitted.

Health and Safety Protocols

The health and safety of our meeting attendees is of top priority. Our goal is to host a safe and productive meeting while following all CDC protocols. If you feel sick or are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms; have tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the meeting; have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the meeting; please stay home.

We will continue to follow the World Health Organization’s (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidelines. Masks and/or face coverings are optional within the BRICC facility.

Parking

Limited underground parking is available for $10.00 per day (Cash, Discover, Master Card and Visa accepted). The parking garage entrance is on Randolph Street. *Additional street parking is available.

Food Accommodations

While there is no registration fee, monies will be collected at the on-site registration desk for beverages and snacks provided. The cost to attendees is $5.00 per person, per day for unlimited access. Lunch will be on your own. There are numerous dining options in the immediate area.

Group Dinner.

A group dinner/social is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Please indicate on your registration if you would like to attend. Charges will be individually billed.

If you plan to present at the RECWG meeting, an electronic copy of your presentation in MS PowerPoint or Adobe PDF format should be sent to Renee O’Brokta, IAPG Support Specialist, at renee.obrokta@nasa.gov, no later than July 19, 2022. The use of Mac or specialized graphics software for your presentation is not available.
