Attendance at the Safety Panel Meeting is limited to:
- U.S. Government Employees
- Approved U.S. Government Contractors*
- Approved Representatives of Foreign Government Agencies*
*Requests for approval must be submitted in writing, and should be sent to Michael Brundage and Julie Simmons. Deadline for requests for foreign nationals: January 19, 2017. The deadline for requests for U.S. government contractors: February 1, 2017 (extended). Requests received after this date cannot be accepted.
Meeting Registration/Visitor Access
Deadline for registration for Foreign Government Employees: January 23, 2017.
Deadline for registration for U.S. citizens: February 8, 2017.
All presenters, as well as meeting attendees, are required to register for the meeting. No walk-in/day-of meeting registrations will be permitted.
Visitor badges are required for all non-DoD visitors. Visitors who DO NOT POSSESS a DOD Common Access Card (CAC) will be required to submit an access request form (SECNAV Form 5512/1) to NSAPCBASEACCESS@navy.mil prior to the registration deadline. Forms may also be submitted via JPAS (NSWC PCD SMO: 613315).
Visitors may pick up their visitor badges upon arrival at the Visitor Reception Center (VRC), located at 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City Beach, FL 32407. All Foreign Nationals must check in at the VRC and present their passports for proper identification before “escort required” badges can be issued. Foreign Nationals must be accompanied at all times, regardless of program affiliation. Please note that the VRC is open Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and is accessible via the Thomas Drive West Gate.
If you would like to present at the Safety Panel Meeting, please email Julie Simmons with your presentation title. Presentations in MS PowerPoint or Adobe PDF format will be due by COB February 8, 2017.

Tours of NSWC PCD facilities will be conducted the afternoon of Thursday, February 23, 2017. Tour areas being considered include the following:
- Mine Warfare
- Diving and Life Support
- Amphibious Warfare
- Special Operations
- Explosive Ordinance Disposal
Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) is approximately 22 miles, and a 30-40 minute drive from NSWC PCD. The closest alternative airport, Destin-Ft. Walton Beach Airport (VPS), is approximately 60 miles, (a 1:45-2 hour drive) from NSWC PCD.

While there is no registration fee, $10.00 per person, per day, will be collected on-site for beverages and snacks provided during the meeting. Lunch will be on your own. A list of local lunch and dinner style restaurants will be available at registration.
If your attendance plans change, please make sure you cancel your registration so we may adjust food quantities to avoid unnecessary charges.
An optional group dinner/social will be held Wednesday evening, February 22, 2017. If you would like to attend, please indicate so on your registration form.
